In this role, the production lead will be responsible for operating, cleaning, disassembling and reassembling equipment such as:
a bottling line, including labeler and batch coating machine a DI water system low and high shear mixers high-performance tube filling systems In accordance with our standard operating procedures, the production lead will perform and/or assist our chemist with performing physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process product samples and finished product samples, and approve material and finished products based on test results.
Keeping precise and up to date batch records and production paperwork is a key role expectation.
Another key role expectation includes recognizing and reporting manufacturing incidents.
Depending on the needs of the business, the production lead may also have responsibilities including other manufacturing-related tasks, inventory control (receiving of raw materials), and/or wastewater COD testing.

Role requirements:
Bachelor's degree, or 2-3 years production or mechanical experience Demonstrated ability to perform intermediate math calculations Must have strong mechanical skills Must have a strong ability to troubleshoot, maintain and calibrate equipment as required Must have a strong ability to train and develop a team Must have a strong ability to diffuse tense situations in a professional manner and effectively manage multiple priorities with a willingness to delegate Must have a strong ability to clearly communicate in front of a group and give clear directions Must have a willingness to take on a variety of duties as business needs require Must be a decisive problem solver Must be able to thrive while working independently and while working with a team - our employees MUST be team players Must be extremely detail-oriented, diligent and eager to learn Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage, company-matched IRA, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, short-term disability, life insurance, and personal use of the products we manufacture.
